Hiya girls! Hope your Monday is going well so far. Are you fortunate enough to have the day off for Martin Luther King, Jr. today? My boys are out of school today so we have spent much of the day meeting up with some of their friends for lunch and playing outside. Gorgeous weather here today! Anyway, I’m popping in with some winter basics layered up with some fun fur for added texture!
I’ve always tended to be a “statement piece” kind of gal….whether it be a cute top or skirt, it needed to have some detail that really stood out from the pack and wowed you. BUT, I have learned to embrace and LOVE the idea of having great basics in my closet. I now finally get what all the fuss is about. I’ve been delving into a bit of my own “basic training” lately and coordinating some of these new closet staples with more unique pieces that add some interest….something that has little pop of color/print or texture to it. Call me a slow learner, but I DO eventually catch on. Ha!
This fur piece is a big new favorite for me. The color, the softness of the fur….it just feels like a very luxe piece. If you haven’t yet snagged a neutral fur vest this season, I encourage you to check this one out. It’s only a little over $40 and well worth every penny, in my opinion. I really think you’ll love it as much as I do.
Enjoy your afternoon, you guys, and thanks so much for stopping by!
