Blush Bell Sleeve Dress

.

Good morning! I’m kicking off this Monday with a little spring preview of sorts. We had a few gorgeous spring-like days last week and I was reminded once again that it really is my favorite season.

I realize it would be cutting it close on delivery time with Valentine’s Day coming up next week but this dress would be such a pretty choice. (Pete and I don’t normally go out to dinner on Valentine’s Day simply because we have both worked in the restaurant industry and remember what a madhouse those nights can be.) So, I likely will be saving this lace number for spring in a couple of weeks.

Listen to me when I tell you that the quality on this piece is on point, friends! I still can’t get over the $27 price tag. Insane. My advice? Jump on this one, you guys!! It’s fully lined and the fabric is not stiff at all like some less expensive pieces tend to be. I really think you’ll love it as much as I do!

Bell sleeves have been super on-trend this past season and I’ve been hesitant about wearing them simply because I’m short and felt like they would overpower my frame. But, I went out on a limb with this one because I loved the color and the lace and I am so glad I did. The double bell sleeves is my very favorite detail! It adds that bit of drama that I like from time to time.

Chloe Crossbody Bag

The Chloe Dupe…

I snagged this very Chloe-esque crossbody bag last summer and while I’m not always the biggest fan of designer dupes, I couldn’t say no to this one. All the same feel at a crazy fraction of the price. I’ve linked up two very similar versions for you up above.

The same thing goes for these studded pumps. The Valentino rockstud versions are pretty sweet, no doubt, but I feel much better (and worry less about ruining) about this much less expensive version. I’ve linked up a few options for you guys up above as well.

I love a great authentic splurge every once in a while, but honestly, there’s absolutely NO reason you can’t achieve great style on a smaller budget. If you see something designer out there that you’re ‘dying for’, I promise you there are several very similarly styled pieces that will help get you that same look at a fraction of the price.

The bottom line. Don’t kill your budget for fashion’s sake, ladies. It is certainly NOT a necessity to having great style, which is why I really try to include those less expensive pieces mixed in with some of the higher priced quality items as options for you.
