You guys staying warm this week?? What crazy winter weather happening all over right now! Hope you’re staying toasty by a fire somewhere. We have been having record low temps for several days in a row now. Other than having to run the heater through the night and it drying out the entire household (my northern friends, you’ll have to tell me how you remedy this problem!), I am loving the colder air!

Today, along with the weekly linkup, I wanted to share this flutter sleeve dress that I wore for a blogger wine soiree last month with you guys. I love the richness of both the colors and textures together. For these photos, I paired it with the burgundy backpack, but the weather required a jacket for the lunch meetup. I opted for my favorite suede moto jacket and simple black crossbody bag for that.

Honestly speaking, I don’t know how we went through winters before over the knee boots became all the rage. I feel like they’ve given me my winter skirts back. Love that they do the job of keeping your legs warm all while looking glam and pulled together. I’m not sure I would have liked this dress with a pair of heels….the over the knee boots give it that little bit of edge that I always tend to lean towards.

Do you wear tall boots with your skirts and dresses during this time of the year? I’d love to hear about it!
