There’s so much to love about the fall season, but one of my favorites is the ability to use good staple pieces from your own closet to create looks that continue to work year after year. If you’ve got a good denim jacket and a couple other fall basics, you’re all set to duplicate this simple look. If not or it’s just time to replace any of those pieces, I’ve linked those up for you as well.

In all honesty, when I look at this outfit, I quickly realize it’s just a mix of all of my very favorite fall pieces to wear over and over again in different combinations with jeans, leather shorts, etc.

I don’t do it enough but I highly encourage you to do a quick Pinterest search whenever you’re looking for a fresh way to style something you already own. I think sometimes we get in a mindset that THIS piece gets worn with THAT piece in our closets. At least I do. Ha!

Lastly, if you’re in need of a fresh pair of neutral booties this season, I cannot recommend these that I just got a couple weeks ago. The perfect classic to go with skirts, shorts or jeans.
