I’ll be honest with you guys. I spend many days out of my week in workout wear, but it dawned on me that I never really show that part of my life with you guys(unless you follow along with me on Instagram!) So, I thought it might be fun to work in some regular posts from now on that show you how I go from the gym to running errands(ok, brunch. There, I said it.)
Ok, when it comes to working out, I’m not a HUGE sweater….yep, I do get in a good workout and even manage to break out a pretty good sweat, but I’m not like dripping when it’s all said and done. I’m not sure if that’s the case for a lot of you or not, but a little freshening up is all it really takes most days. So for the most part I can get away with meeting up for a quick lunch and errands after if that’s what’s on the agenda for the day. I’ve always been of the mind set that looking good is feeling good, so I like to feel “cute” while I’m at the gym. Am I alone here? For me, there’s nothing quite as unmotivating as having to look at myself for an hour in the gym mirror and not feel semi-decent about the reflection looking back at me. I’m all about fun tank tops and bright colors at the gym.
Now, this look is something I would throw on top of my regular tank top for a chilly day out. A cute long sleeve fitted top with a punch of pink. And, since I feel weird without having something on my neck, a simple monogram is what I stow away in my gym tote as I rush out the door in the mornings.
(And just to keep it real, no, I do not bring a curling wand to the gym with me. Ha! These curls were just for you guys….normally it would be a high ponytail or straight locks after leaving the gym. 😉 )
Hope you all had a relaxing weekend! I could go for one extra day, myself! 🙂
