Looking through these photos makes me wish it was last week again and we were still at the beach. Instead though, we are home prepping for school to start in seven days. Boohoo.
Gingham. I think you already know I love it. I’ve done a few posts with it here on the blog. I love the timelessness of it. As the title of this post suggests(thanks for the inspo LL Cool Jay), gingham may be trending heavily again this summer, but it’s been a staple for many decades. This top is such a fun mix of a classic print done with the bit of a boho vibe. Preppy meets Summer Boho. The best of both. Yes!
The off the shoulder trend is running really strong this season and I’m a total sucker for it. This neckline combined with the full ruffled sleeves really got me. Had to have it!
The top is definitely the showpiece here so I kept it simple with a pair of high waisted white shorts and some pops of color with the accessories.
ps….couldn’t decide on which sunnies I liked best with it, so I’m giving you a bit of both. 🙂
Also, if you love your sunglasses as much as I do(hello, sensitive eyes), I highly encourage you to check out Ditto. You can rent Designer shades like these Karen Walkers at a very reasonable monthly rate. Get your first month free using code JANUARYHART.
Now excuse me while I go pull out some old school LL on youtube this am.
Happy Sunday, ladies!
