Let’s keep the gingham roll going, shall we? I’ve shared two gingham tops recently here on the blog, but today I’ve got this classic (and universally flattering!) fit and flare style dress from Shabby Apple.
I love the Retro gone Modern vibe to it, and honestly, it’s what I love about all of their pieces. I have such a soft spot for styles from the 50’s and 60’s. I love those days when ladies dressed like ladies and not a hair was out of place. I’m going to take a stab and assume humidity didn’t come into play until the 80’s. Ha! Seriously though, I hate to keep pounding away at the obvious, but the hair just CANNOT hang too much more with all of this sticky heat! This girl officially calls it….Louisiana summer weather, you win. I lose. 🙁
Anyhow, I paired up this retro look with some current trends like this laser cut crossbody bag, a druzy necklace and some wedges. If you’re looking for a new fall bag this year, I really suggest starting with a neutral crossbody. I’m linking up a few below that I’ve got my eye on. A gal can never have too many neutral bags, in my opinion.
Hope your Monday goes off without a hitch, friends! As always, thanks so much for stopping by the blog!
