My very favorite way to transition into early fall…
I love a good long sleeve duster cardigan with some denim shorts. I’m always going back and forth in the summer between being super hot outside and freezing when I’m inside in the A/C. This is where a comfy long cardigan option like this one comes in real handy. It’s perfect for a summer casual or an air travel day look and gives you that little extra coverage that makes us all feel a little more confident and comfortable. As a bonus, keeping the colors neutral make it one you can wear through early fall as well.
I like to keep these looks simply with just a basic tee or tank and my favorite distressed denim shorts. I also pair this cardigan with my white denim shorts or jeans for a little different look, occasionally.
On the day we shot this look I was getting that inevitable super early fall itch. (I blame that on the yearly Nordstrom sale that’s happening right now!) I normally would reach for my favorite crossbody bag, but I wanted a little more early fall vibe this time around, so I opted for my staple leopard(or is it cheetah?) clutch. If you’re looking for a more budget friendly option for that piece, this one is a great deal.
Get in on the sale!
