Kimono Lovin’

Good morning, friends!! Happy Monday to you!

Did you feel my burst of energy there??

I’m currently slurping down a venti size iced latte trying to perk up this morning. Turns out my body isn’t a real fan of staying out past midnight these days. My niece’s one birthday request this year was to have a girl’s night out and all of us go see Carrie Underwood. That night was last night. We had a blast and having seen her once before a couple of years ago, I was yet again amazed at how fantastic she sounds live. Seriously, it’s like listening to one of her recordings when you hear her sing live. She did ‘I Will Always Love You’ and the crowd went WILD, ya’ll!

While I loved hearing her sing, I have to be honest….I was more about what she was wearing! Love seeing her glammed up concert styles! Anyway, it was a really fun night and I highly recommend seeing her if she’s in your area anytime soon!

While it was unplanned, it turns out this blog post outfit was what I wore to the concert. I didn’t want to be fussing too much with complicated pieces and I knew I’d be lifting my hands up for three hours singing along. Worked out great because I could take off the kimono when it got a little warm in the building and I really liked the boho vibe of it all. If you’re like me, you’re SUPER picky about kimonos. I’ve been on the hunt for one for two seasons now that felt like ‘me’ and I finally found one with this colorful fringed version. Perfect for pairing up with a simple tank and some denim.

Thanks so much, ladies! Hope your week is starting out on a positive note today! xo

Thanks, Lawren! We had a great time! Carrie is always amazing to see in concert! I definitely struggled yesterday with my energy levels though. Tough getting older! 😉
Hope you’re having a great day, sweet lady!
