In 2016, let’s…..
As I often do, I’m sitting here at the end of another year contemplating all that has happened over the last twelve months. What did I do that worked? What were my flops? What can I do to keep the momentum going on the things that worked and revamping those that didn’t? I think this is kind of what we all do at the end of a year, right? Hopefully, yours was filled with more highs than lows and you’re looking forward to cruising into the new year with a sense of excitement at what’s ahead.
I have to say that I feel really good about the past year and this new season of life that I’m in! It was filled with lots of new challenges and opportunities to step out of my comfort zone. I trained and ran my first full marathon earlier in the year, and started with a personal trainer who challenges and inspires me to be my best every week. My sweet boys both went off to big boy school in the fall, which has freed up my days to concentrate and really work to develop my little corner of the web here. It’s been a bit of a challenge with learning curves galore, but I really do enjoy the process and sharing my love of fashion with you guys. I have to admit that my personality typically dictates that I MUST get everything “right” the very first time I do it….aak! It’s one of my goals to let some of that go in the new year. BUT, I am starting to learn and appreciate the art of growing and improving with time and practice. you can also read here about art. I already have a few new ideas for the blog in the new year that I’m excited about pursuing and sharing with you all. If there is anything that you’d like to see more or less of here on the blog, I’d certainly love, love your input! I want to know what info/posts help you guys the most! I so appreciate each and every one of you! Thank you SO much for making this year a fantastic one for me here on the blog!
Ok, so before I leave you guys I wanted to share a few fun finds! So, one of my very favorite things about the start of a fresh new year are new planners(LOVE this one from Day Designer!), great books that inspire me to be my best self AND yes, a nice new shiny notebook. Seriously, is there anything better than opening up a fresh new gold spiral bound notebook and putting pen to page?!
Here are a few things that caught my eye with the new year in mind!
