Spring Pattern Play

Spring Pattern Play

With all of the bright colors I love to wear, I have to say that a classic nautical look has always been one of my very favorite combinations. It’s one of the things I’m always excited about when spring rolls around each year.

Since I haven’t patterned mixed in a while, I thought it might be fun to dive back in and bring you guys the trifecta of all prints…..stripes, plaids and polka dots. 🙂

So there’s alot going on here with this look, but I have to say that I really like the way it all works together, somehow. Ok, so this dress is such a fun spring piece with the plaid sailor detailing at the neckline and the flowy fit. I went with some wedges(hello, short girl right here!), but some cute flat sandals would be great for a daytime look as well. This is one of those ‘throw in your suitcase and head out for vacation’ type dresses.

In other news, I hope you all survived Cinco De Mayo yesterday! Every mexican restaurant around here was packed to the gills last night!

Have a great Wednesday, ladies! I’m off to take my little one to his end of the year pool party for Kindergarten. Can’t believe tomorrow is the last day for my sweet boy. 🙁
