Hiya ladies! I’ve got something a little different for you today. This one will primarily be for all my fellow style blogger gals out there! I’ve got a style blogger freebie download for you that hopefully helps you out this summer!

Here is my plight:

Ok, because we tend to shoot 4 and 5 outfits in a single photoshoot session, things can get a little, let’s just say, chaotic. Sweaty AND chaotic to be more exact. For us, most shoots involve me changing in the backseat of my car trying to remember what I had planned for what outfit, all the while trying to be fast, but not too fast, as that just makes you an even sweatier mess. Know how difficult it is to put on skinny jeans when you just got out of a bath…with lotion on your legs? Yep, that’s about how it goes for me in the backseat of my car. Charlie horses left and right having to contort myself to get top/dresses/jeans on. Oh, and don’t even think about wrinkling that freshly steamed blouse either as you try to slip it over your head(watch for makeup!). Nope.

Jewelry. What jewelry was I going to wear with that look again? It’s not until AFTER the shoot is over that I realize that I forgot to change my earrings from the last TWO outfits. Same outcome applies to shoes. Grrrr…

Modesty pretty much flies out the door. We park it, take a quick survey of the land, duck down low and hope there are no creepers around watching. So far, so good. Other than the occasional construction worker, we make out ok with this method.

Ok, so what I’m getting it at here is that while things may appear to be calm, cool and collected in photos, trust me, they are pretty much anything but. For me, it’s a celebration EVERY time we finish another shoot with any sort of success, because, honestly, after two years of doing this, I still hold my breath every time we leave, praying that we got what we needed so I can then share it with you guys. (See, it’s all for you!) 😉

It’s tough out there for a style blogger, ya’ll. Just sayin’. 😉

So anyway, I was remembering back in my college days studying apparel design that whenever we had fashion shows showcasing our designs, there would always be a garment tag on each piece stating any and all accessories or details that were to be included with the look. Hello!! Why don’t I just create some of those bad boys to get myself organized for my photoshoots so I’m not a frantic mess?? So, that’s what I’ve done. Not only does it help me during the photoshoot, but it also helps me to plan out my looks ahead of time and really be able to visualize what my upcoming posts are going to look like. I love it!

I’m including a link below to print out your own tags. I printed mine on an off-white cardstock. Feel free to download them if you think they might help you out! And if you have any suggestions for any other printables that might make your blogging life easier, let me know! I’m at your service!

(psst…ok, so in August when I’m on my fourth outfit and my hair is a total hot frizzy mess, here’s hoping you’ll understand the situation and still think I’m awesome….’cause those days ARE coming again, my friends! Just love me through it, ok? Ha!)

You and I are soul sisters! I shoot 10-15 looks in one day and I am a disaster by then end! Add the Florida humidity to that (and a small backseat) and I’m one change away from being handcuffed! Ha! Love this idea to make it easier 🙂

Awe, Gentry!! Sounds like we ARE soul sisters! And I thought 4 outfits was bad!! 15?? You are a total superwoman, girl!! NO idea how you get through that many in one shoot. I’m wiped out after ours are over, so I can only imagine how exhausted you are at the end of yours. Hope you at least reward yourself with a big ol’ fat piece of cake or something!! That’s definitely worth earning some carbs!! 🙂
      Thanks SO much, girlie!

Loved reading this! I relate to it so much, especially when I’m at home with a car. Otherwise sometimes it’s changing in a cafe bathroom, and having to carry a big bag so I can wear one outfit and carry the other. Really need to get more organized with it 🙂

I think you need a motor home! An air conditioned motor home, lol! You’d never know by looking at your pictures that you just survived an outfit change into skinny jeans, lol! Your description had me in tears, I’ve definitely been there, haha!!

Haha!! YES!! That’s just what I need! I’ve considered buying one of those pop up changing tents, but we sometimes shoots next to high rise buildings and that just won’t work out! Ha! Thanks, my sweet friend!! SO miss chatting with you more on the daily! xo
