Southern Livin’…
Today’s post is all about the local life! I was born and raised in New Orleans, but moved to Baton Rouge my first year at LSU back many, many moons ago. For me, Baton Rouge will always feel like home. I love our unique mix of city life and small town southern hospitality. This is a pretty good place to start if you’re not familiar with our area and are curious.
One thing you gotta know is folks around here LIVE for Saturday nights in Death Valley. You can really start to feel the LSU football itch gearing up come July. And wearing purple and gold is a year round thing, not just during football season, which is why I love this tee so much! If you’re not familiar with the Southern Football Tees company (SFT for short), you’ve got to make a stop online! This is the company that designed the SUPER popular Cajun Navy tees a couple of months ago as a way to raise money to help out our city with the historic floods we had. They are constantly coming up with new designs and just started a new monthly subscription service as well with brand spankin’ new surprise products delivered each month. I’m a bit obsessed with this one right now!

I threw in some fall vibes with a basic leather jacket and some leopard accessories and I love the feel of it with the purple and gold. This would be a fun look for a game or tailgating (ok, be sure to bring your sneaks along with you!). Throw on a sleek choker to bring in some extra sass while you’re at it!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends! If we were in person, I’d surely send you off with a good ol’ southern hug! Ha!
Go in for the handshake. Get the hug. ~ The South
Have a fantastic Tuesday! xo
