.One of the most rewarding things I’ve discovered over the past three years about being a style blogger is getting to meet with local businesses and women who are passionate about what they do and what they offer their customers. After many years of trying so hard to find them, I feel like I’ve FINALLY found my “tribe” and it’s been such a wonderful thing for me, I have to tell you!
I’ve made some really great friends who run successful businesses that I love cheering on and supporting. Two of those are Annie Claire and Chelsey, owners of SoSis Boutique here in the area. They have had an online presence for two years now and recently took the leap into opening a store front in the Port Allen area!

The January Hart Collection
In celebration of the new store opening, they’ve given me the opportunity to curate a winter collection of some of my very favorite pieces and I’m SO excited to be sharing one of those looks with you today!
I’ve pulled together a couple of holiday party looks and another that’s perfect for more casual events or for even a day of Christmas shopping. I’ll be sharing them them each separately here on the blog, but you can see and shop the whole curated collection here at any time!
Be sure to use code: JHSHIPSFREE for free shipping on your order as well!

Since I’m kinda ALL about the sparkle, I thought I would start with this pretty fantastic sequin cami and blazer. I’ve been saying how much I’ve wanted to layer a statement caped blazer over a sparkly top and I finally got my chance! My favorite camisoles are the ones that hang away from the body a bit and give a draped appearance and I was so happy that this one fit the bill exactly! This polished and festive look would make a perfect Christmas party or New Year’s Eve assemble! I really wanted to keep it simple and accessible by pairing it with basic black denim and pumps and a fun envelope clutch.

The caped blazer has been a real favorite of mine over this past year. Sure, classic white blazers are always appropriate, but seriously, how much of a conversation starter is this sleek white caped version? And since work holiday parties can be awkward at times and no one knows what to say or how to open a conversation, you’ll already have a leg up with this piece! Ha!

I hope you enjoy shopping this curated collection as much as we have enjoyed putting it together for you all! I can’t wait to share the other two looks with you here on the blog soon!
PS. if you’re in the Baton Rouge/Port Allen area, be sure to stop by the Sosis Boutique and have a peek! They’ve done an amazing job creating a fun shopping venue….and they’ve even set up a cozy “hubby/boyfriend” waiting area so you can take your time and shop as long as you like! 🙂
