Bachelorette Party Weekend in 30A

30A Bachelorette Pool Party Weekend

Now that the kids are officially back in school, I’m recapping a little weekend getaway some blogger friends and I took earlier this summer. Caitlyn, one of our girls, is getting married! So naturally we had to head to the beach to celebrate!

Here’s a bit about our amazing time spent in Florida on 30A. You can also check out a little more from my photographer and I’s day in nearby Seaside Beach on this trip as well.

(Spoiler alert: We had an absolute blast!!)

Where we stayed

I know I’ve said it here on the blog before, but the 30A area of Florida really is such a charming beachside community. If you’re looking for a beach escape, seriously consider the area of Rosemary, Alys or Watersound, which is where we stayed. The house we stayed in was an absolute DREAM. Two kitchens, three floors, a pool, an elevator…the list goes on.

Honestly, every home in this Watersound beach community was incredible. To say owning one of them as a summer home would be a life goal would be a serious understatement.

Our weekend Itinerary

Thursday: Arrive, relax and head to the beach for a bit. Dinner later with a private chef back at the house.

Friday: Free time on the beach in the am. Private yacht excursion in the afternoon/early evening and then head to one of the male strip clubs. (Our time on the yacht was probably my favorite, especially as the sun started to set.)

Saturday: Pool party back at the house. Leisure time. ‘White Night’ attire in honor of our bride for dinner in Rosemary Beach.

Sunday: Head back to reality

Where we ate

On our first night at the house, we had the privilege of having Chef Kali come cook dinner for us. Watching her work to create all the beautiful and delicious entrees for us was a ton of fun and I decided that I could definitely get used to that kind of luxury on occasion here back at home. There’s something so special about experiencing a gourmet meal in your bare feet at home, ya know? Ha!

Saturday night we dressed up a bit in all white looks and headed to Caliza Restaurant in nearby Alys Beach to dine poolside. The entrees were worth all the hype, that I can tell you. No idea how they made my chicken dish taste so flavorful and moist, but they did. And their frose’ was ahhhmazing as well.

Final Thoughts on the weekend

Although it’s been several weeks since we were there, my feelings about the whole weekend haven’t faded with time. Sometimes, as bloggers, you luck out and get just the right combination of personalities on a trip, the one where all the personalities mesh and there’s no drama (well the bad kind anyway! ha!) This was definitely one of those times. We had THE best time being in each other’s company, sharing laughs, LOTS of photos, and celebrating our bride to be!

I’ve probably said it here on the blog before, but getting into this blogging world five years ago has rewarded me tenfold with more great opportunities, experiences and FRIENDS than I could have ever hoped for. I remember praying daily for God to bring women into my life that ‘got me’ and that’s definitely what I got. So grateful for it all.
