Overalls.
Are you judging me yet? Ha! You guys, they may not be the sexiest thing on the market, but darn it, I had forgotten just how comfortable a good pair of overalls could be. Nothing on your waist to get tighter and tighter as the day goes on…..ahhh…it’s a beautiful thing.
I like to call it my ‘farmer chic’ vibe. ha!
I’d say the new overalls/shortalls this season are the same ones we all grew up wearing, with the exception of the wash and distressed details. I’ll be wearing them with tank tops and comfy tees all summer long as the days start to really heat up.
In terms of news on the homefront, things are slowly starting to look up around here and I’m so thankful for it today. Pete had a bit of a scare yesterday feeling like he may have had the start of another pleural effusion situation happening again, so we packed it up and headed back up to the hospital to get him checked out. After a few hours in the emergency room, we got the all clear on the chest x-ray, but with his recent heart bypass surgery history, they decided to keep him overnight to be monitored.
He was released earlier today and he looks a MILLION times better this afternoon! It’s SO nice to see him feeling good once again! Thank you so much to all of you for keeping us in your prayers these past couple of months. We appreciate you all more than you know.
